KPSS, ALES and YDS exam preparation is private tutoring and study coaching for Türkiye's central exams used for public-sector recruitment, graduate programme applications and foreign language proficiency. The KPSS focuses on general ability, general knowledge and field knowledge; the ALES on quantitative and verbal reasoning; and the YDS on vocabulary, grammar and reading skills. Because most candidates are working adults or graduates, lessons run at flexible hours with a plan designed to make the most of limited time.
What to check when hiring for KPSS, ALES and YDS exam preparation
- State which exam you are taking and why; different KPSS sessions and field exams need different preparation.
- Check the exam and score requirements in the official notice of the institution or programme you are applying to.
- Follow ÖSYM's current announcements for exam dates and scope.
- Ask for a schedule of short but regular sessions that fits your working hours.
- Share previous exam results and practice-test analyses with the tutor to set priorities together.
KPSS, ALES and YDS exam preparation: frequently asked questions
Can I prepare for the KPSS while working?
Yes. Many people prepare while keeping their job, using short regular weekday sessions and weekend practice tests and revision.
My math foundation is weak for the ALES quantitative section. What should I do?
ALES questions rely more on logic and basic arithmetic than on advanced math. Quickly revising the fundamentals and practising by question type usually works well.
How should I study vocabulary for the YDS?
Learning words in context through reading passages and past question types, with spaced revision, sticks better than memorising lists.
